Alcohol in the industrial work environment is a dangerous mix. Occupational Health and Safety regulations must account for a zero-tolerance policy on the consumption of alcohol at work. The use of Breath Testing equipment will lead to a deterioration in alcohol related absences and accidents in the workplace.
Alcohol can be measured in the blood up to 12 hours after drinking this will ensure you are able to check whether employees are working at their physical peak.
Legal requirements call for staff to be successfully monitored in order to track a historical record of infringements on company policy. A strong policy is only as good as the equipment used to uphold it. That’s why Alcolizer Australian certified products are the choice in industrial health and safety applications.

The installation of an Alcolizer offers staff a self-test system enabling them to test themselves before entry to the plant should they feel they are at risk. A positive voluntary test would not normally attract punitive measures from the employer, other than the possible deduction of the associated waiting time until the worker is able to give a ‘zero’test. If, however, a worker is caught inside the plant with a positive reading, having not availed himself of the entry test, then clearly he would be in deep trouble.
The underlying principle in this system is that the workforce becomes self-regulatory because the staff understands the safety risks associated with the effects of alcohol, as well as the unpleasantness of possible anti-social behaviour that often goes hand in hand with alcohol consumption.
1. Fast and easy testing operation – quick detection and quick recovery time.
2. Two modes of operation – active by blowing and passive by sucking.
3. Testing results announced by voice.

Alcohol Light:
There are three lights to indicate the alcohol concentration after a test is completed:
Green |
with 1 buzz / voice |
No alcohol (<0.5 0/00) |
Amber |
with 3 buzzes / voice |
Low concentration (0.5 ~ 0.8 0/00) |
Red |
with 5 buzzes / voice |
High concentration (>0.8 0/00) |
General driving limit in South Africa is 0.5%BAC. The AlcoLight is ideal for use at security check points, in pubs, bars and restaurants.
HH2 with Vehicle operation unit uses RF frequency to control the ignition switch of the vehicle. In other words if the breath test is a fail the vehicle will not start.
This is ideal for use in fleet management systems and has found great success in curbing bus and taxi accidents in countries like China and Australia.
